Social Evenings
The club also holds monthly social meetings on the second Tuesday of each month where a workshop or lecture normally takes place. No images are judged at these informal meetings where you are free to discuss any topic as long as it is related to photography. Times and venues are notified by E-mail. Get directions here.

Set Subject 
August 2017 -
No set subject because of the AGM.
September 2017 - Old Cars
Your subject must be a car manufactured at least 50 years ago. It may be on the road, parked, in mint condition or a rusty wreck. Get creative!

Scorpions and Spiders
At our June meeting on Tuesday 13th at 19h00 at the Florida Lake Canoe Club, author and conservationist Jonathan Leeming gave us a presentation on spiders and scorpions and had lots of creepy-crawlies on hand to be photographed. 
Water Droplet Photography
At our May social evening, Roy Mann brought his complex water droplet apparatus to enable us to create amazing freeze-frame pictures.

Photoshop Fun
At our April social evening, Mike Lanesman (a professional lecturer accredited by Adobe) gave us an excellent practical talk on a number of Photoshop procedures.
